Cotswold Trees – Thriving Tree Guarantee Terms and Conditions

The “Thriving Tree Guarantee” is offered by Cotswold Trees and is applicable only to the purchase of small trees up to 90cm tall made exclusively through cotswoldtrees.com since 1^st March 2023.  This guarantee does not extend to purchases from other authorised sellers of Cotswold Trees products.
2. To be eligible for the “Thriving Tree Guarantee,” buyers must adhere to the following guidelines:

• a. Water the tree at least once weekly, ensuring it receives adequate hydration to support healthy growth.
• b. Plant the tree following the guidelines provided by Cotswold Trees, taking into consideration factors such as soil preparation and recommended planting depth.
• c. Stake or provide adequate protection to the tree as needed, especially during the initial stages of growth, to prevent damage from the elements.
• d. Protect the tree from grass and weed encroachment around the trunk, which can hinder its growth and nutrient absorption.

3. The “Thriving Tree Guarantee” covers claims made within 12 months from the date of the original order placed through cotswoldtrees.com.
4. Claims under the “Thriving Tree Guarantee” must be supported by clear and date-stamped photos of the tree taken during the growing season (April – October).
5. To initiate a claim, the buyer must notify Cotswold Trees within 30 days of discovering any issues related to the health or growth of the tree.
6. Cotswold Trees reserves the right to assess the validity of the claim and may request additional information or evidence to support the claim.
7. If the claim is deemed valid, Cotswold Trees will provide either a replacement tree or a refund for the original purchase price, at their sole discretion.
8. The “Thriving Tree Guarantee” does not cover damage or issues resulting from negligence, improper care, extreme weather conditions, pest infestation, diseases, or any factors beyond Cotswold Trees’ control.
9. The guarantee is non-transferable and applicable only to the original buyer who purchased the tree from cotswoldtrees.com.
10. Cotswold Trees reserves the right to modify or terminate the “Thriving Tree Guarantee” at any time without prior notice.
11. By making a purchase from cotswoldtrees.com, the buyer agrees to abide by these terms and conditions and acknowledges that they have read and understood the guidelines for tree care.
