Prunus Serrula, often referred to as Birch Bark Cherry, is prized for its unique mahogany-coloured bark that peels away in strips, resembling birch bark. In addition to its distinctive bark, it produces small, inconspicuous flowers in spring.
This tree is adaptable and can thrive in a variety of soil types. It is valued for its ornamental bark and attractive, glossy leaves.
