Our native Rowan or Mountain Ash tree are gorgeously colourful garden trees and one of our most popular and it’s easy to see why.  

Starting with creamy white blossoms in the spring, followed by bright red berries in late summer and finally gold and red foliage into the autumn they provide season long colour. The Rowan is not a fussy tree and will grow in almost any soil conditions and in sunny and partially shaded locations and will reach around 10m tall at maturity.  Excellent wildlife value providing fruit for thrushes and blackbirds.

Wild Cherry (Prunus avium) up to 2m tall

Wild Cherry are one of the finest ornamental trees we offer.

With fantastic white Cherry blossom in April, attractive red bark and cherries in late summer, the tall pyramidal structure can reach 18m at maturity.

We’ve found these to be one of the faster growing garden trees in all well drained soil types. It’s an attractive tree with a high conservation value and provides a fruit crop within 3-4 years.

Smaller trees can grow by 1m in height per year, if planted in line with the supplied instructions.
